Shanty Singing at the Swansea U3A

At the end of November 2023, we started a shanty singing group with the Swansea branch of the University of the 3rd Age. (U3A)

We meet every Monday afternoon and spend a couple of hours singing, chatting and enjoying a cup of tea.

Some of our U3A members joined us in Barry for the Festival of the Sea, in aid of the 200th anniversary of the RNLI. We had a great time, performing along with many other well known Shanty groups.
